Come to Liz's apartment. Prepare for a voyeuristic experience in a living room, where two strangers wrestle with attraction and suspicion. He is a Spanish political activist and she hides a secret...

Written by: Mar Gómez Glez
Directed by: Julián Mesri
Produced by: Carmen Simón Rubio, Laura Madera
Cast: Pep Muñoz, Kelly McGrath

Although completely fictitious, this play is inspired on Enric Durán. He is also known as Robin Bank. Enric is a Catalan anticapitalist activist and member of the Temps de Re-volts collective. On September 17, 2008, he publicly announced that he had “robbed” dozens of Spanish banks of nearly 500.000 euros as part of a political action to denounce what he termed the predatory capitalist system.

This project is a new theater piece performed in living rooms throughout NYC that explores trust in an era where hospitality meets surveillance. In this intimate setting, there will be no border between the piece and the audience, who participate in the performance as the invited “voyeurs” of the evening. We invite everyone’s suspicions to the table, as we learn more about these two strangers meeting for the first time in this apartment in the midst of these politically and socially charged times.
